Water is important. The body is made up of 60-70% water. The human body uses water to regulate body temperature and provides the means for nutrients to travel to the organs. Water is a transporter. It transports oxygen to the cells, works at waste removal, and helps protect your organs and joints.

As someone who’s lost and gained weight a few times in her life I know the most important thing about staying healthy and dropping pounds is drinking plenty of water. Water is the key to staying healthy. I drink water all day long and can tell the difference in how I feel if I’m running low on water. Water is also important in maintaining proper kidney function, but don’t over do it. You can drink too much water. A few extra glasses is ok, but a gallon is too much. Too much water in the body can result in diluting the salt in your tissues and blood.

To maintain a healthy weight even if you eat some unhealthy foods once in a while is to drink a lot of water. If you’re at a healthy weight one way to ensure you stay at that weight no matter what you eat is to drink plenty of water. It’s the essential ingredient to regulating your blood sugar, keeping your skin hydrated and fresh looking, keeping your internal organs healthy, speeding up your metabolism, and flushing your system of impurities. So, what are you waiting for? Go drink some water.
